Welcome to the Edmond North Track & Field Family

The coaches of the Edmond North Track & Field program (ENTF) would like to welcome you to the family. In this handbook is the information that will help you prepare for your involvement with the Program this year. While it would be a challenge to cover every situation, we have tried to create a comprehensive guide for our policies, philosophy, and expectations. This digital version is the most up to date version available (upadted 1.21.17).

History

In the two decades that Edmond North has existed, the Track & Field program has been wildly successful, including two Team State Championship Titles in 1995 and 1996 (Boys), and Team Runner-Up Titles in 1994 (Boys) and 2014 (Girls). We also have two State records, which is something that few other teams can boast.

Program Philosophy

The Edmond North Track & Field Program’s primary goals are:

(1) unlocking and developing each individual’s athletic potential

(2) being a positive force in the growth of good and well-rounded young men and women

Parent Expectations

Parent involvement can be an extremely important part of  the success of our athletes. Out of necessity and due to popular demand, we thought it would be benificial to provide resources for parents on how to be a more effective track mom or dad.

Edmond North Track & Field Booster Club

This is the second year of a Booster Club for Track & Field at Edmond North. Its existence will help support communication and involvement between parents and the team. Your participation is greatly appreciated as the Booster Club continues to define itself and find ways to support our track athletes.
