School Suspensions

In the instance that an athlete receives ASIP In-School Suspension, he or she is expected to practice regularly. Eligibility for meets will be up to the discretion of school administrators and the head coach during ASIP suspension.

In the instance of out-of-school suspension, an athlete will not be able to participate in practice or meets while out of school. The athlete may begin practicing normally as soon as they return to school.

A single suspension within a competitive season will result in the athlete being placed on probation by ENTF. An additional infraction while on probation will result in further consequences up to removal from the team.

Hazing

Mutual respect is an expectation. Hazing of any sort will not be tolerated. Ridicule of a teammate in the locker room, training facilities, or competition areas will result in a conference and consequences in accordance with Oklahoma state law. If hazing is determined to have happened, those involved will be prohibited from participating in any extra-curricular activities for a minimum of two months and may be prosecuted by local law enforcement.

Drugs and Alcohol

The use of drugs, alcohol, tobacco, or illegal substances will not be tolerated. The abuse of these substances is damaging to your health and detrimental to your training. One bad decision in regard to use of these substances lets down the entire Program. Teammates should support each other in making good decisions. Possession of drugs or alcohol during Track & Field activities will result in dismissal from the team.
